Before I get into my super excitable post, I’ll get the serious side out of the way: some hostees can be so disrespectful, inconsiderate - all of those words. I checked my bandwidth for this month, and it’s almost 35gig! I was thinking, “what the?” - my part of the site doesn’t even use a single gig, generally. So I checked the write up of where all the bandwidth was going, and it turns out that 30gig of the bandwidth was being used by a single hostee, who hasn’t updated since March 2004 and was just hosting images and mp3s. They were already on “warning” for me to delete the account, but I think now it’s safe to say they’ve been deleted. How irritating. If you’re not paying a cent for hosting, you don’t whore up the resources - I have other, more deserving hostees.

Anyway! I was up until nearly 5.00 this morning talking to Brooke, because I just couldn’t sleep. I was tired, but so overly tired I felt wide awake. But the most productive part of this discussion was that he (yes, “he”) lead me to discover new music! The more melodic of the Soilwork songs (where there are lyrics rather than screaming), a band called 10 Years, and a band called Within Temptation - the last of which is considered “Melodic Death Metal,” but it’s so fantastic I can’t see why they classify it so. To me it sounds like Evanescence (pre-fame EP style) mixed with something strange…
