Welcome to eloquensa! Currently masquerading as a newspaper hot off the press for want of a better idea, the story behind this edition of my world is a fairly simple one. I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

“I've been thinking about you, your records are here. Your eyes are on my wall, your teeth are over there - but I'm still noone, and you're now a star. What do you care. Radiohead - Thinking About You”
Maybe. It’s a little bit wary, as I’ve been asked to make the salad for dinner - but hopefully I’ll be able to spit this out before I get abducted to the kitchen!
I saw Underworld: Evolution at the movies the night before last; it was really quite wonderful. I don’t know whether I like it because “ooo black leather and vampyrs” or because it’s actually a decent movie - take your pick. Either way, I’d see it again, and that’s worth a thumbs up from me. I also saw Memoirs of a Geisha the Saturday before last, which although nowhere near as good as the book, I actually thought was a decent movie. Again, that may be my bias from having read the book - see it anyway! Get some movie fun into ya.
Kev came up on Thursday to (finally) spend a few days with me before school starts again - lots of bumming around, swimming and watching of movies was done. During the time he was here, Mum and Dad had to run off to Orange (it’s a place, okay?) for a family friend’s 50th Birthday, so I had to be temporary housewife and clean the kitchen/cook dinner and so forth. I enlisted him to wipe up some of the stuff that couldn’t fit in the dishwasher load and I’d had to hand-wash, and he decided to be clever and put the dog bowl upside down in one of Mum’s saucepans and laugh that I couldn’t get it out. He got it out, but then (entirely against my own advice) put it in again, and this time harder. In the end, we explored every rule of physics to try and get this freakin’ thing out. Soak it in hot water, put cold water in the middle. Soak it in hot water, put icecubes and cold water in the middle. Heat it up on the stove, put cold water in the middle. Spray the stuck join with oil to loosen it, try to pry it out. In the end, if you want to know how to prise two pieces of metal stuck together apart - heat it up on the stove and spray oil around the edges, and the heated air will pop the two apart, aided with shoving a knife in the gap that appears so it doesn’t slip down again. Hoorah!
Anyway, a bit of updating here and there -
Familia - I’ve updated the familia section. More on that in a moment.
Mortifera - I finished the sidebar area of the mortifera section. Thankyou Dodo’s Alarm Me.
Imperium - imperium sidebar also finished.
Hostees: You’re all wonderful, thankyou for being a part of my website. However, there are a few people who haven’t updated in a long time, and have possibly abandoned ship. Due to not having a contact email for most of you, I thought it best to make a note on here.
Could the following people please give me an email? You guys haven’t updated in ages. :/
Kata, Viitoria, Suhaida and Jennichka.
By no means am I angry at any of you or anything silly. Just shout me an email to let me know what’s going on with you, okay? *hugs all around*
