Welcome to eloquensa! Currently masquerading as a newspaper hot off the press for want of a better idea, the story behind this edition of my world is a fairly simple one. I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

“Backbeat, the word was on the street that the fire in your heart is out. I'm sure you've heard it all before but you never really had a doubt. I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now. Oasis - Wonderwall”
Okay guys, I really do suck, I know this - but I just needed a bit of a break from the routine of posting. Lame, sure, but all you should care about is that I’m back now, and I’m going to give you guys an update. Woo!
In the past few… months, I guess it’s been, a fair bit has been happening. I think I passed most of my school exams (except chemistry perhaps, chemistry is “teh suck”); I really should have studied more for them, but what’s life if all you do is study? So yeah, that was a bit of a non-event. In the time that I should have been studying I went to see Kev, or got him to come and see me - much more productive than studying, I must say.
Well I started out with the intention of writing a huge post, but since then people have started talking to me on MSN and the likelihood of it happening is rapidly slimming down. So instead of putting this post as a draft and finishing it later, greatly diminishing the chances of its arrival, I’ll post a smaller one with my bigger news.
I got a puppy. Yesterday I had to work from 9am - 1:30pm, and dad was the one who was going to take me to work. Instead of just dropping me off and driving away like he usually does, he parked the car because he apparently had something to do. It didn’t really seem abnormal at all, though later I would come to realise exactly what he was doing. Finishing work, mum came to pick me up and we had subway because mum had never tried it before; though she was really anxious to get home because she “has to check the washing.” Now that was weird because the washing really isn’t that urgent, but it still didn’t click. I got home and there was this little fluffy thing that wasn’t Wags. He’s the most adorable little 500g fluffball ever.
Wags is acting like a real sook at the moment, though, he’s been an only child for around a year and a half now. Though as we speak he’s finally decided he wants to play with Muffin. Yeah - we called him Muffin, short for Ragamuffin. He’s a little scoundrel. I took this photo of Wags sulking on my bed (without sheets :P They’re in the wash); he knows that if he sits in high places Muffin can’t get him because he’s too little to jump up there yet. Cheater.
