Welcome to eloquensa! Currently masquerading as a newspaper hot off the press for want of a better idea, the story behind this edition of my world is a fairly simple one. In order to unfold it, one need only use the navigation above. Some articles will be viewer censored, and all commenting is only available once registered and logged in.
I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...
Not An Addict

“Deeper you stick it in your vein, the deeper the thoughts, there's no more pain. I'm in heaven, I'm a God.. I'm everywhere, I feel so hot. It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive - if you don't have it, you're on the other side. K's Choice - I'm Not An Addict”

What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name is Anne. I think it’s incredibly plain.. but if it were “Ann” I’d hate it more. I like the “e” on the end, it gives it class! I don’t think I’d change any of my names, except perhaps my last name to get rid of the associations with the Olsen twins.

If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
I don’t know about a fashion designer.. I’d hate to make “trendy” clothes for people. Though I generally go for darker colours - black, maroon, chocolate browns, navy blue, dark greens - and I really like that fake velvet feeling fabric, except it’s much lighter and cheaper (:P), as well as the light, airy summer fabrics. There’s nothing shameful about cotton.

What is your least favorite chore, and why?
I’d have to say I hate vacuuming. Sad enough to say, though I’d rather clean toilets and bathrooms than vacuum. It’s just so noisy - and chances are mum won’t be satisfied that I’ve vacuumed up everything, so I’ll have to do it over, and over, and over…

What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
I can’t stare at things when they’re cooking in the microwave. I don’t remember who told me, but someone told me that if you look at a microwave too long or too closely, the emissions of radiation that are coming out of it will gradually cook my eyeballs. That freaked me out so much - consequently you can never find me staring into a microwave. I keep my distance.

Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment.
I’m actually using my dad’s computer at the moment, which is in the “family loungeroom” - the one that’s “informal” enough to have a TV. I would be using my computer in my room, but it’s currently broken to some degree. I could also be using the computer in my brother’s old room, but that’s temperamental and too far away to walk to. Now, 3 things I can see: nearly-empty cup of orange juice, a battery pack of two 9V batteries, and a removable harddrive.
