Hey guys… I’ve made another skin, if you didn’t already notice. ;) I’d have to say it’s my biggest experiment in colour for quite some time now - generally I go for grey/white layouts, just because they’re so much safer. I think it’s really cool apart from being so pink, but I’ll survive. I experimented with using curved lines - I don’t even want to mention how I achieved those, because there’s probably some amazingly complex ‘easier’ way to do it.

But on to more important things!

The first time I get paid (I don’t know when that is exactly), I’m going to get $150+. Wheee, I like working. Working the registers at Target isn’t all that bad, and it’s cool because I actually get some money out of it. That is, it’s not ‘all that bad’ until you get the demon customer from hell who shall not be named, not that I know her name anyway. She wanted a price check on something leaning towards half of the things she was buying, and it took 20 - 30 minutes to get just her through my checkout because I had to have people going to and from different departments to check stuff. Grar! All the people behind her were giving me dirty looks because it was taking so long, and then she had the nerve to tell me “Oh can you hurry up, I’ve got my child waiting outside.” *goes mental*

Well, it’s true,

  1. Wow what a nice customer =) Not. I love this layout being grey and teal because its so soothing and simple, which people tend to pass by. The pink one is soft and creative which I like also :P

  2. See, being on the registers = not so bad. Try being on the floor, at Target. It’s a fresh, oh so painful kind of hell, you spoilt registers girl, you :P. That’s why I work at Muffin Break now. And get closing-time muffins. Mmm. Closing time muffins.

  5. Out of all of your skins, I love this new one the most.

Customers can sometimes get on your nerves… But most customers are nice, I hope :0

  6. Congratulations on your job! It’s just a shame it had to be at Target, since they are the devil and I will never forgive them for buying The Bay.

  7. Wow… this is your most beautiful layout yet. :D It’s dreamlike and warm, while following on with the flower theme of your other skins. Yay pink! ;) It has a sort of understated beauty that really stands out (the whole layout I mean, though colour plays a role in that of course). ^^

And congrats on your job! :O Money can make you go through the most exasperating of things (mmm, money).

+ those lyrics up the top are very addictive. ;D

  11. Well of all the people. You get that one. lol 1 thing that lady shouldn’t of left her kid out in the car. that is how childern go missing or die. 2 she should of gotten the price before she got to the register. plus it wasnt your fault it was hers, she was taking up the time.

The skin is lovely! I really love the contrast.
