I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...
Go me!

“And I can't breathe, when you cry - but I'll be there to hold you tight. And I would kill, I would fight, to keep you close, I keep singing the same way. I won't live, if you died, if I can't feel you in the wind. And this is me, it's my life, I need you close to sing. Cold - Gone Away”
Well, lol, after spending quite a bit of time redoing the comments file so that it fit in nicely and everything, was no longer a popup etc - it turns out that my wp-comments-post.php file had a syntax error, so noone could use the form anyway. I’m just such a clever cookie ;)
What’s new? It’s the school holidays, and it’s incredibly exciting. I’m living it up like it’s never going to end :)… I was in Nowra last week with Kev for 3 days or so, and I’m going up to Queensland to stay at his grandpa’s for a week. We’re leaving… today, actually. We’ll be hanging at the beach heaps, I’ll be learning to drive and there’ll of course be a mandatory first-timers trip to Dreamworld (I’ve never been to Qld before). I just hope that I don’t kill anyone or anything when I’m learning to drive - I just have this feeling that I’m going to either be really good or really bad at it, and it’s more likely to be the latter. Pray for the good residents of Russell Island. :/
What’s old? I actually had the (as yet undetermined) pleasure of having the last week of the school term, which happened to be the second week of our half yearly exams, in dear old Armidale. Those of you who’ve read earlier posts of mine (by earlier I mean a year ago) will know that Armidale is where the University of New England is situated - aka in the middle of nowhere. Seven hours north of Sydney and slightly inland, it’s only a medium sized yellow dot on the map, which tells you that I wouldn’t like it there (Pop. of 10,000 - 20,000). Why do I allow myself to be taken there? Because I have to attend a University Residential school in the midterm break, seeing as I’m an external student. Gah. My class was a class of 2; there being me (16) and a 60 year old man with 5 children. It was… interesting, to say the least. I did survive college life, however, and I live to tell the tale. But that doesn’t mean I can’t complain about it. :)
I saw The Ring II on Tuesday when I was in Nowra. You know, it’s actually a pretty good movie. It was spoiled for the people with whom I saw it, though, because I hadn’t given them a chance to see The Ring before dragging them to the cinemas with me. Ah well *shrug* - can’t be a 100% awesome person all the time. Anyway! I digress. I really liked it; the plotline was “thinner” than the first movie, although I thought it developed the character of Samara a lot more, and in a really cool way - cooler than “I’m a psycho dead person who’s going to kill people 7 days after they watch my freaky homemade movie, just because”, anyway. The directing was also particularly noteworthy, if you’re the kind of person who digs picking apart the way a movie is filmed to get a much more in-depth idea of what it’s about. So yeah, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking to see a movie in the near future. :)
PS - Don’t go to the movies alone with 3 boys, they can be immature when in large quantities and without female direction as to how to act in public (I was busy watching the movie).

Mi ne certas pri via uzo de “quantity/ies” en la senco “nombro”. “Quantity” signifas kvanton kaj ne nombron, kaj do mi konsideras tion eraro.
Sed, estas bone ke vi jam vidis The Ring Two. :D

Ahh, I need to learn how to drive also. I’m actually still working on Drivers Ed. I’m taking the course online and I get lazy, so it’s taking me a while to get it finished. Anyway, I’m fairly sure I’ll be horrible at driving as well :P
I thought The Ring Two was okay too. That scene at the well actually made me laugh, which is rare for me while watching a horror movie. I’m usually grabbing onto someone else’s arm. Anyway, it kept reminding me of Spiderman for some reason :D..
