I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

Gone Away
April 29, 2005 | Filed under: Online Stuff

Do you pray, in the night? Can you appreciate the wind? And I won't care, I won't fight, I need you close to sing it's the same beginning.. Gone away, it's the same old, same old song. Gone away, it's my whole life in words. And I can't breathe. Cold - Gone Away

Which keys do you have on your key chain?
This may sound completely insane, but I’ve always really wanted a key chain that was full of a whole heap of keys. Keys and cards in your wallet.. to me they seem symbols of both power and independence. Unfortunately, I’m only priveledged enough to have 2 keys - those being one to my house and the other to my locker.

What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I do a lot of strange, spontaneous things. However, probably the most spantaneous thing I’ve done in a while would be the day after the formal, how I wasn’t allowed to go to a party because I couldn’t get there myself, but I decided then and there to go to Nowra (3 hours away by train) instead, and I was actually allowed to do so.

Who is the best cook in your family?
That would have to be my mum. She’s a really good cook, although (years ago now) when she decided to go back to full time work, she made a deal with my dad that he would do the cooking/shopping and she would do the washing/ironing - so we deal with dad’s somewhat 2nd rate cooking. I can cook better than him. :P

Main Course
If you were to write a “how-to” book, what would the title be?
I don’t know that I have any particular skill or knowledge worth sharing with anyone. :/ Um, I’d probably do a “How to NOT annoy me.” Maybe.

Dessert
Name a recent fad you’ve tried.
I’m not the biggest follower of fads - I tend to stick to what I’m familar with. Though if you can call driving a “fad,” I’m definitely up on that.
