Welcome to eloquensa! Currently masquerading as a newspaper hot off the press for want of a better idea, the story behind this edition of my world is a fairly simple one. I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...
XHTML Strict: Death icelandic style

“She looks like the real thing, she tastes like the real thing. My fake plastic love... But I can't help the feeling, I could blow through the ceiling, if I just turn and run - and it wears me out. Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees”
Okay, I exaggerate, but what’s life without a bit of exaggeration? :P And no, I have no idea from where I got iceland in particular, it was just one of those random things where you use the first thing that pops into your head. Kinda like how “llamas” were the first thing that came to mind when someone today asked me what Indians had introduced to the rest of the world.. but that’s another story. Anyway! After changing around the layout a bit - did you notice, hrm? - I decided, hey, XHTML 1.0 Transitional really is long and ugly. You know what’s shorter? XHTML 1.0 Strict. Hence spending the next few hours fiddling around with the finicky errors that resulted in trying to get it to validate. And I’m there! Except for 2 pages. So really, on two pages I’m lying when I say that it’s valid XHTML 1.0 Strict :P.. Though I really do have a reason…
One of my lovely readers may be able to help me, so I’m going to plea for an answer here. I use the dodosmail script for my email forms, and as part of the coding for the form on my pages it has a “name” attribute. I’m fairly sure this is essential to keep the script running, but the bitch of it is that it isn’t valid. Does anyone out there have a clue how to get around/fix this? If you do, I’d be incredibly grateful should you pass on your wisdom. :D
Before I run off to both ponder over my dilemma and attend to other, more important things - that update I promised you. Don’t give up on me completely, I’m not entirely unreliable - I have a draft of it started in wordpress, it’s coming, it’s coming. :P I hope it’s worth it when it finally arrives.
PS - I had tacos for dinner and tempura fish for lunch. Mmmm yum.
