I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

Black out your bitterness, forget your jaded bliss.. your shadow falls on me. You blame it all on a mutiny, when everybody around you always seems so free. I can see it in your eyes, it's burning in your eyes. Juliana Theory - Congratulations

So it’s been a week since I last posted, and I’m possibly making history with how soon after my last post I’m now writing to you again. But that’s cool, I have reason to be talking. :P

It’s been a week, and since the last time I spoke to you I’ve nearly secured myself a copy of Origin (for those of you who don’t know, this is Evanescence’s first commercial release); missed a few days of school due to illness; had a maths, latin, computing and history test while I’ve actually been in school; and revived the everlasting desire for a community: Kafumi.

My Latin test went really smoothly considering I barely prepared for it (tsk, I know), and the translations are getting so easy to do. I only lost half a mark on those because I left out a silly little word that made no difference. :P Though my history test, lol… I’d forgotten about it completely, so I had to do it on Monday and didn’t know a thing - no surprises there. So they’re like “That was pathetic, do it again.” So I did.. on Wednesday. History on Wednesday is straight after recess, and in recess I asked Gemma and Anna to teach me about the subject. Go my cramming skills, I wrote lots and still had heaps more that I could’ve said if I had more time. :P

So, to Kafumi. I care not about the delicacies of subtly twisting it into the conversation - you’re all an awesome audience for my less than satisfactory attempts at keeping this place updated, and I’m so glad I don’t have any idiots whining about what I write here. So I’m going to blatantly advertise. Now, I understand a lot of you are busy people or already established in your own communities, but I’m extending a welcome to all of you to join up and talk to me and all the other cool people on there. Register as you please, or just browse around at the posts already there. :) Thanks!
