I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

“Jesus is risen, it's no surprise - even he would martyr his mama to ride to hell between those thighs. The pressure is building, at the base of my spine; if I gotta sin to see her again then I'm gonna lie and lie and lie.. Rev 22:20 - Puscifer”
Guess who has a gmail account? Pick me pick me :D It’s great. I’ll see about posting some screenshots at some stage, but for the moment I’m just figuring out all the things you can do with it. Hotmail’s going down. :P For those of you who don’t know what Gmail is, it’s the up and coming webmail system created by Google. Check it out, it’s got some yummy new features.
I’ve also joined some internet community program called Orkut, which is also run by Google. It’s an interesting concept, and it could be kinda okay. You can only be invited by a current member, and then once you sign up you become part of their friends circle, so you meet a whole heap of friends of friends. If you want an invite, give me a shout.
So, who noticed the new layout? :P lol, I put it up a couple of days ago, although I’ve had it made for a while now. I like it.. It follows the same theme as previous layouts, but I’ve decided to make use of <p> tags and make it a lot more spacey. Mmhmm. I also put up an AAC/MP3 rotation page where I’ll put up a new song every week for you to download. hint hint: Get iTunes! :P
To the offline stuff.. I had a very busy day yesterday. I went into the city with 3 other people from my Latin class to participate in a reading competition at Sydney Uni, although I got suckered into doing the Greek passage. It was scary as.. I mean, I can do public speaking occassionally, but not in front of a panel of judges when I’m reading something in another language. One of the judges was my teacher from Macquarie Uni, which somehow made it worse. lol, I was the first person in the Greek section, so I go into the room and sit down in the hot seat, but then the judges had to ‘dialogue’ in whispers for what seemed like eternity as I sat there. Nasty. My cousin was straight after me.. she was wearing her ‘dyslexic glasses’. :P
:O Sydney Uni library (it has a certain name, but I can’t remember what that is anymore) is massive. 8 storeys high, and when you get out of the elevator you’re on one side of the building which is about 30m wide and 200m long, and it has 2 rows of bookshelves running along its length with about 1m gap between them. 1) That’s only one half of the level, 2) there are 8 levels like that! Impressive.. You also go to the 3rd floor where they have a photocopying room, and it has about 40 photocopy/fax/printer units lining the room with people monotonously photocopying. Eep. :P
