I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

Hit me, you can't hurt me. Suck my kiss, kiss me please pervert me - stick with this. Is she talking dirty? Give to me sweet sacred bliss, your mouth was made to suck my kiss Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Suck My Kiss

Are we all happy now? I do hope we are.

Anyway.

I’m back, finally! I spent 6 days in the middle of nowhere (Armidale) going to university, and I’m rather glad to be home. I missed my Wags :( Gah. While I was there I had 4 lots of 1 and a half hour lessons a day, and even the long lunch break didn’t make up for the way my brain felt at the end of every day. I didn’t actually learn a whole lot, as the first day we were revising everything we’d learnt so far and the next few days we learnt new stuff, which I’d already learnt in January anyway. But it was a good revisor, and it was (surprisingly) fun to spend time around people that are all going through the same kinda thing. I went up there thinking that I was really under-prepared, and that I didn’t know anything, but in the end it turned out that if anything, I knew more than I had to know. Naturally, that was a relief.

Man, my room in the college was awesome. We (Mum and I) specified that we wanted to be in the women’s only building, but that was more because that particular building’s been modernised and the rooms are huge. Someone actually lives permanently in the room I stayed in, so I had use of their mini fridge and got to look after their fishies while they were gone - it made it more homey in a way. The showers in there were great, too, nice and hot water in the morning…

In other news - I’m (to put it the way someone I know would) cashed up the wazoo. In other words: I have money! It’s a rare occassion that this actually happens, and I’m loving it. Since I got my bank account a week or so ago now, I withdrew all the money that’s been building up in paypal, and it totalled $109.45. Sure, that may not seem like much, though to me it’s heaps. I’m *this* much closer to being able to afford an iPod mini. Stare in awe at the baby I’m soon going to have in my possession. $340AUD and it’s mine. I have $219.45. Ohhh yah.
