Friends..? Romans?
March 14, 2004 | Filed under: Daily Grind, Online Stuff

I gathered all those little things she said - kept them close to me, trying to make this real. This cloud will always hover over me. I'm leaving you today, 'cause now I see Cold - Suffocate

I’m back, with the better smell :P Think nothing of that though, I do shower regularly. I just haven’t posted in a very long while. Why, you ask? Year 10 is a bitch. :( I have heaps of assignments to do, and it feels like doom is impending every half an hour. Despite the obvious negative side of this, I breeze through and manage to live another day.

Major recent events:

//  I’m on a massive music spree. New music includes:
- Live - pretty much everything from “Birds of Pray”
- The Postal Service - such great heights (Don’t ask, just don’t.)
- Cold - suffocate (fo lyfe!), cure my tragedy, wasted years and black sunday.
- As well as a lot of stuff from Overclocked Remix. Yes, I listen to video game music, give me a nerd sticker.

//  I had an “important” family get together thingy last Sunday. Boring as hell, and there seemed to be a great amount of obsession over my hair. It’s long, it’s straight, it’s brown - get over it. Pfft. :P My mother turned 48, and my brother turned 21.. Consequently, I’m feeling incredibly youthful at the moment, only having had double digits for 6 years by October. But it’s cool, I get to go for my driver’s license this year. :P People of Sydney - live in fear :D

//  I had a great girl’s night in with Amy and Adele on Friday night. We made brownies that ended up turning out crap and being dense enough to knock someone out with when put in a plastic bag (believe me, Adele tried it on my leg. It was sore for a while.) But that’s okay, because the process of making them was fun enough. We got flour all over Amy’s kitchen, left a massive hole in her mother’s margarine container, and Adele got to lick the spoon. Then we made popcorn out of one of those nifty microwave packets, where all you have to do is turn the microwave on for 2 - 3 minutes and it goes *pop* many times. While all this was happening we were watching our Year 6 Farewell video, which added a lot to the hilarity of the evening. I’m sorry, guys, but you really did sound like chicks - except even worse and wearing Hawaiian shirts, with “degrees in spikage” where you smothered your head in gel and made rivulets of grossness that went flakey. Ayesh looked cute in a pudgy lil baby kinda way, Tom looked like he was mentally retarded, and spongecake? He looked the part. I was really tall (which if you know me, that’d sound close to impossible), and we were all stupid. I think out of the entire grade, there were only maybe 2 or 3 people that actually held hands when we had to do dances with a partner. Yes, I was one of them.. such the slut. *holds hand over mouth :O*

// Get yourself an ObjectDock. Now. Remove yourselves as much as possible from the world where the PC look is overwhelmingly disgusting, and into the smooth, smooth style that has a Mac flavour to it. James was kind enough to find it for me, and since then I’ve been fiddling around with icons and the themes you can have on it. If you’re game for a big picture to load, check out my desktop.
