I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...

Yeah, I'm endlessly caving in and turning inside out, because I want it now; I want it now. Give me your heart and your soul, and I'm breaking out; I'm breaking out. That's when she'll lose control Muse - Hysteria

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but.. after the first day of Latin summer school, I only really have one word to say: boring. The classes are crap, we’re (Gemma, Deborah, Tracy, Matt and I) in a class that’s way too advanced for where we’re at, and just meh. I’m very good at guessing what things mean from context and if I’m given the vocabulary, but I have no idea about endings. We only really started tenses at the end of the year, and didn’t get more than a lesson into it (which I wasn’t there for anyway), but in this crap class I’m supposed to know endings for 6 different tenses, as well as weirdo things like the subjunctive mood. Crap, crap, crap. :( The social aspect of it is cool - we have a 1 hour lunch break - but the rest sucks. The free choice lecture was pretty boring, too. It was on the Roman Calendar.. Meh..

I could just be negative because I have a headache right now, but I don’t think so. :P I went to put put golf afterwards with a whole group of other friends. It was kinda fun, lol, not because the game is fun but because it’s fun if you do it with friends. I won the first game, go team! I lost the second game miserably, but shh, by then my concentration had waned. :D Then we went back to Tom’s house seeing as it’s his birthday, and that was kinda boring cos by then I was tired and didn’t feel like being social a whole lot. Now I’m home. :P Yay for Melon’s social expeditions.. You know one thing the Latin summer school has over the Greek? They serve cordial. 3 kinds!
