Welcome to eloquensa! Currently masquerading as a newspaper hot off the press for want of a better idea, the story behind this edition of my world is a fairly simple one. In order to unfold it, one need only use the navigation above. Some articles will be viewer censored, and all commenting is only available once registered and logged in.
I'm Melissa; pretend journalist and currently real-life accountant wannabe. I used to be a kid in highschool, but I've since kicked the habit. At 18 years of age I'm just moving through life, enjoying my free-time and earning lots of money whilst still living with my parents. Continued on page 2...
New Layout
September 10, 2003 | Filed under: Daily Grind, Online Stuff
Once again, a new layout. And yeah, I realise I’ve only used three layouts throughout the entire time that Eloquensa has been open, but who cares. :P I don’t know that I like this one more than the last, considering the last was orange and orange will always rise above the others, but it’s kinda cool, and I needed a change.
Ever get that feeling where you have so many things you want to do but not enough time to do it in? Well, I get that a lot. Mostly lately. Things that are important at the moment:
- School work (that’s always there)
- I want to have 3 grand at least by the end of next year to buy my brother’s car from him
- I’d really like to take up the flute again
- If I want 3 grand I need a job, and I’d like some extra money anyway
- I learn Greek outside of school already, so that takes time and adds to homework
- I have a social life now and I want to be available to go out
Doesn’t really work, huh. I’ll sort something out, learn to manage my time, something like that. I’ve never really been one for time management, though I’ve decided it’s one skill I need to learn before I hit senior years. :P
*Stretch* Hrm.. What else lately? I guess my “social life” as I referred to it earlier has been quite the rollercoaster lately, lots of bads and lots of goods. Most of my group were fighting, everyone at each other’s throats, I was caught in the middle as usual, and they always seem to fight when I’m not around to be the peacekeeper that I am. And another person I considered as a friend has buggered off, but, on the opposite side of things I’m quite a lot closer to a friend that I’ve been distanced from for 2 years. That, of course, is great. :) Don’t you love being a teenager? :P
