1. Who is your favourite singer/musician? Why?
Hmm.. I don’t really have a favourite, actually. I listen to just one or two songs by a lot of artists, however I’d say that recently (the last few months) the artist with the most songs I’ve listened to would have to be Evanescence. Why? They’re awesome, and Bring Me To Life isn’t the only song that they’ve ever made, you teenieboppers out there. Origin, their EP that came out before Fallen, happens to be heaps good.
2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?
So, so many of them.. But, to pick the worst I’d have to say Britney Spears. You, Britney, are the demise of music as we used to know it. All your descendants are CRAP.
3. If your favourite singer wasn’t in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?
How can you like a ‘favourite singer’ if they weren’t in the music business? I can’t presume that I know someone just because I’ve read a few articles about them, know some trivia and listen to their songs. A favourite singer to me is a person whose songs I like listening to.
4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?
Not as yet. However, I may be going to homebake (some Australian thing).
5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?
No. I don’t agree with the RIAA. In fact, the only people that mp3 downloaders around the world are cheating are record companies, who make enough money as it is. If you really get down to it, the artists themselves make hardly anything. But, the RIAA with their lots of money (notice, even with people downloading music they still have lots of money) can do whatever they want anyway.
